Corozal Town is a port of entry for travelers from Europe, North America and Central America and is therefore a perfect hub. From Corozal Town transportation by sea, land and air, public or charter is available to all parts of Belize and on to the Guatemalan border.
There are daily boat runs to and from the island of Ambergris Caye stopping at Sarteneja if needed, daily several flights to and from Ambergris Caye, affordable bus runs connecting to other destinations within Belize. Once in Corozal a visit to Lamanai Archaeological Reserve is a must-do.
